About Erin
I have been studying piano for 16 years continuously, competing in solo competitions as well as playing with other musicians. I am a member of a piano trio, accompany up to 25 people a year for various competitions and recitals, as well as play for various local events. I have taught piano lessons for 2 years and am a current member of the Utah Music Teachers Association. I have completed 3 years of performance study at Brigham Young University under Dr. Scott Holden, as well as private lessons in Vienna, Austria and Budapest, Hungary at the Franz Liszt acadamy. I will apply for a masters degree in one year.
I have TWO main locations I will be teaching at: one in Provo, the other in Alpine Ut.
I am technically qualified to teach others this instrument, but more important, I enjoy it! I look forwarding to helping others learn such a useful skill and have high expectations of students.
I love learning languages. Having studied four foreign languages, I am a believer in the power of learning to communicate in new ways. Music is a language that everyone can understand and it's extremely important that as many people attempt to learn this language as possible - for their own benefit and the benefit of others. It is a powerful and fun tool!

Erin was a fantastic piano teacher to my daughter. She was so very caring and patient. She is an accomplished pianist and shared her talent with my daughter and inspired her to want to be like Erin. She taught her more than notes - she taught theory, music and a love of music. I highly recommend Erin as not only a teacher but as a mentor for the youth to aspire to.
