About Patricia

My Voice and/or Piano lessons are geared toward the goals of the student, are 45 minutes long, covering basic note reading, proper technique, and music theory, in a congenial atmosphere. My 40 years of successful performances and teaching has given me rich experiences to share with my students. I have been a long standing member of Music Teachers National Association, (MTNA) formerly held membeship in AFTRA ( American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), and the National Association of Teachers of Singing, (NATS). I have had award winning students from local to national levels.

At the present I am seeking adult students, particularly those over 40 years of age, who are beginners or who have had previous lessons or performances.

I am elated when a student learns to play his/her first piece of music from memory. They exude the glow of pride that makes me believe I am giving them something special. I have the opportunity to introduce a student to parts of the big realm of music that they were not aware of, some of the different things they can aspire to through their music.

About the lesson

We meet at my student to get acquainted and discuss the student's goals. The student, if he/she has had previous instruction, will perform for me so I can evaluate that particular student's needs. There is no charge for this meeting and the student is under no obligation at all.
