About Indira

I'm always trying to deliver an extraordinary service making sure not only that the student understand the subject but also that the student feels that his/her needs are understood by me as a teacher.

I truly believe that music can change lives for the better and enjoy very much being able to contribute in this regard.

I started teaching at the school, mostly helping other studenst that had dificulties understanding the subject.

I'm majoring in Music Composition, this is my senior year at New World school of the Arts, in a few months I'll have my Bachelor degree ready to be presented upon request. I'm up to date with the best methods to study and teach Piano among others disciplines such as Music Theory and Sight Singing.

Also I've been playing keyboards professionally since 2010.

About the lesson

First thing is to talk about the student level and then the student goals. A program will be explained according to what we need to achive in our classes and what are the best ways to do it.

Be sure the techer is willing to give a personalized class since all students don't learn in the same way.

I just recently did my graduation Recital, and I felt that even though not everything was perfect regarding the interpretation of my pieces, because of the little amount of time that the musicians had to prepare, it met and surpassed the expectations of the audience including my adjudicators, so, I’m very pleased with how the event went.
