I’m very happy to have studied with such an outstanding teacher as Michael Patterson. As his former student, I’ve studied jazz piano with him at Mannes the New School for Music . Not only has Mr. Patterson been an excellent teacher, but he’s also been an outstanding mentor. His classes were challenging, interesting and very productive. In addition, he was always willing to put in extra time to help me outside of class. Mr. Patterson is also an accomplished composer and performer. He’s got terrific amount of insight about any musical genre.
