About Kristina

Start your lessons with me if you are not only looking to improve your skills, but also to fall in love with what you are learning. I always try my best to make my lessons as effective and as fun as possible. I have experience in working with very different students, so I can get along with anyone

I love it when a students starts to realize that learning can be enjoyable and interesting, instead of it always being boring. I love meeting new people, because it excites me that we can share our knowledge with each other and make the learning process interesting. I believe that it is important to find the correct approach for each student. Everyone is different and everyone learns differently, which makes teaching even more interesting and exciting.

I have a bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma from a high school in Switzerland. Being at an international school, I was able to learn about many different cultures, so I can now get along with anyone, no matter where they are from, pretty easily. As well as that, after Covid-19 pandemic started, I began my private tutoring for kids. I also have experience in working and teaching kids through my volunteer programs at school, which I have completed. I was a volunteer teacher for grade 5 students at my high school. I was helping the students with their English homework, as well as helping them gain more confidence in their English writing and speaking.

About the lesson

I would love to help kids learn English. I am fully comfortable working with kids any age. However, from my previous teaching experience I would prefer to work with kids ages 5 to 15. I really like to bring the fun into teaching, because I am very passionate about both teaching and learning my students, so I want them to be as comfortable as possible with my lessons and the materials that I am covering. I always try to make my classes fun and effective, rather than boring and extremely challenging. I am convinced that anyone can succeed and improve their writing and speaking skills, if they enjoy the learning process and are comfortable with their teacher. I want to make every student in my class feel welcome and enthusiastic about learning, which I am sure will lead to great success! I know that many kids love songs and movies, so I always try to incorporate both of those into my lessons, because learning can and should be interesting and exciting. I know that many students struggle with their oral practice when they learn a language. Sometimes it happens because they just don’t have enough practice speaking that language, or because they don’t have anyone to practice with, or maybe they are just shy. None of these reasons are an obstacle for me. I am confident that gaining more experience and having more practice will help any student learn how to speak the language even better. I can also help my students boost their pronunciation, because I believe that it is also a crucial part of learning a language. I want to teach my students not to be scared to ask questions and give their answers. My perfect class title would encourage my students not to be scared of learning something new, but rather be enthusiastic and excited about it, than they can achieve anything they want.

Actually, it's very hard to find a tutor that will fit you in both teaching skills and price. My 6-year old son really likes to study with Kristina. Absolutely recommend her for lessons with children.
