About the lesson

The process always depends on the level and the age of student, as well as their goals. We always strive to gain or improve pianistic skills and deepen musical understanding.

For the beginning student for example, we start with keyboard topography, physical aspect - exercises for developing correct approach and hand position, familiarizing with musical language - basic rhythm and note reading. After doing warming up excercices on each lesson we play a new short piece. Students get guidance on what to do during the week and theory homework to reinforce what was done at the lesson.

For transferring student, first we will determine their level and knowledge, their strong and week sides and from their continue working toward their goals - e.g. some students want to play a particular piece, students having an exam, we would work towards preparing the exam.

All my students get the opportunity to perform every semester on studio recitals and showcase their new skills, enjoy listening to their pears and watching themselves later on a dvd recording they get.

I have worked with students of all levels and ages and enjoy them equally. I taught in different environments, e.g. music high school with high professional standards, students participating in international competitions and in home lessons for students wanting to enrich their lives and play music for their own enjoyment. I work with ages 6 and up.
