About Chris

I'm a passionate performing artist who has been involved in many aspects of the entertainment business. I have a diverse set of skills and have worked at summer camps as well as musical theater, opera, live events, restaurants, and many other people oriented industries. I've been a leader and a mentor and many of my young people I request the country as educators, coaches, and leaders in their industries. I work with each person on a personalized level for their skill set and what they would like to achieve.

I enjoy giving back what was given to me from my mentors and helping others is one of the core driving courses of my life.

I started as a summer camp as an archery instructor and found that working with young people was very rewarding. During my decades at camp I worked my music into the program and coached many students in piano and voice as well as teaching improvisation. I have taught and coached off and on over the years students of all levels and piano voice and audition preparation. I'm currently a working actor in LA and also available to work on scene work and be a reader for other actors as well.

I've been a professional entertainer for over three decades, working in musical theater, Opera, TV, film, and commercial. I bring a diverse set of skills as well as a trained ear with a lot of passion to every project and every person who I work with. I started voice and piano lessons at age 15 and attended The Harry School in CT on scholarship. I've studied with some of the most high level voice teachers and coaches in New York City and across the country.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, my first step is to assess their comfort level, talk about their goals, and discuss ways that we can achieve them. I like to keep all of the work light and free with an emphasis on fun. My goal is to have my students finish each lesson with a feeling of accomplishment and joy.

I've worked with students of all ages and levels of over the years.

Make sure that you get a free consultation, and trust your gut. If anyone does all the talking, run away.

I was the MC for New Year's Eve event to ring in 2022! It was a black tie affair and very exciting to be part of a live event after the past couple of years.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What kind of goals will we be working together to achieve? What are your expectations of my practice? What is your refund policy for cancellations? Are you a cat person or a dog person?
