About Alec
I have performed across the country, both solo and with orchestras. This includes performances in iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall. With this, I am able to teach students at all levels, from there first notes on a piano to Rachmaninoff and Debussy.
There is nothing more rewarding than setting a goal and accomplishing it. I love to see students light up with excitement when they are able to play something that they've always wanted to play.
I began teaching at The University of Notre Dame as a supplement to my performance, and I found the process just as rewarding!
Piano Performance Major at The University of Notre Dame
Masters in Screen Scoring at The University of Southern California

Depending on the student's current level, we will develop a weekly plan to help reach the goals set during the first week of lessons.
I have worked with kids a young as 5-years-old and adults as old as 30. I am able to help anyone that is looking to improve their piano skills.
Make sure you have an idea of your musical goals before you look into a teacher. Finding the right teacher for your specific needs is crucial in building a solid musical foundation.
I have lately gotten into film and video game scoring. A lot of my musical influences come from both the classical world (Debussy, Ravel) and the film world (John Williams, Thomas Newman).
