Melanie has a Bachelor's degree in music from Eastern Michigan University. She has a Master's in Education from Loyola College. She is trained in all three levels of Orff Schulwerk. She is also a certified Primary Montessori teacher.

I started teaching piano lessons over 35 years ago as I was finishing college.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Music from Eastern Michigan Univeristy.

Master's of Education from Loyola College.

Trained in all 3 levels of Orff-Schulwerk.

About the lesson

After talking with the parent, we schedule a meet & greet to introduce one another and I give a complimentary introduction lesson to introduce them to the piano and if they had lessons to see what they know. Then I will know what level to begin their lessons at to move forward to weekly lessons.

I work with beginners to advanced, from ages 5 to adults.

I also work with special needs children and adults.

Mrs. Mueller is such a great piano teacher. She is very patient with my nine year old daughter and is great at explaining music. We’ve been going to her for over two years! I highly recommend her as a piano instructor.
