Pha Roah – Guitar Instructor

Pha Roah, undoubtedly is the best guitar instructor that I’ve come across. I started learning to play the guitar in my mid 60’s and I’ve had two other instructors prior to my meeting with Pha Roah. I came across home while searching on-line at www.tsma.fun for a new instructor. My first contact with him was by phone, and after a brief conversation, I immediately felt that he was the right instructor for me. Although I felt this way, I still wanted to meet with him in person to satisfy my curiosity about his knowledge and experience of guitars, playing/teaching of guitars, and music in general. Our first meeting in person lasted for well over an hour, unlike my first meeting with my other two previous instructors which lasted just 15 – 20 minutes. After that meeting it became apparent that he was going to be my new instructor. I was very confident about his ability and trusted him - no regrets!!!

Pha Roah’s theoretical, practical and technical knowledge, together with his experience in music, more so in the art of play the guitar and his patience in teaching makes him a great instructor. He is passionate about guitars and very enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of playing the guitar. Pha Roah has the right approach and is very methodical in the way he teaches. He does not limit his students to one type of music, but expose his students to a variety of guitar music like jazz, funk, rock, classic, blues, reggae etc. This is great because it gives students like me the confidence to be able to fit into a variety of music groups.

As an instructor, Pha Roah communicates in a clear and concise manner, sets attainable goals, keeps track of skill development and progress, and provides weekly feedbacks. He guides his student along the path of playing, listening/hearing and proper timing.

These qualities put together makes him an outstanding instructor.

How caring understanding and in tune the director is with his clients be it young or old ..He has a technique which he applies to his clients that keeps them focused and learning and wanting to learn more all the time. He is absolutely the best at what he does.

Mr green really was a god send. I was going through a really tough time in my life with family and friends. And music has always been my passion, but I never really knew where to start, or which direction I wanted to go in. Mr green worked with my schedule, so I could get the most out of my lessons, each one interesting and easy to follow, working on the skill level I was at , as well as to improve, and discover new avenues of music.
Now I play the guitar with confidence! And couldn't be happier. 10/10 definitely recommend, and will definitely be back for more lessons! ☺️

I just enjoy Pharoah as a teacher in general. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and a great teacher in every aspect. It is an overall amazing experience

I can’t sing enough kudos for guitar teacher Pharoah. Pharoah ‘s musical acumen, patience, commitment, inspiration, and support is key for me as one of his students. At every turn, Pharoah has been the musical muse to aid in my musical journey and vision. Thank you, Pharoah for staying the course and being a great instructor. Musical Cheers to you!

My experience, as a parent who has a child in the Timple Studio Music Academy has been exceptionally positive. The academy provides expert guidance from passionate instructors like Mr. Pharoah who serve as mentors, tailoring lessons to individual goals and interests. Utilizing engaging learning tools, they create interactive experiences that make learning fun and effective. Constructive feedback is delivered with care, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages growth and confidence. Above all, the infectious passion for music at Timple Studio inspires students to explore, create, and fully immerse themselves in the world of music. It's an extraordinary journey of self-discovery and musical enrichment that I highly recommend to anyone ready to unlock their musical potential.

I have an autistic child with very limited verbal communication but a huge love for music. Her disability was an obstacle to find her a piano instructor. I was turned down a couple times after only the first session. When I contacted Timple Studio, I just wanted to find someone who’s willing to try and I was bracing myself for another rejection. Mr Pha Roa matched my daughter with the right piano teacher who could bypass her limitations and understood that the traditional teaching method would not work. My daughter was able to learn to play piano using her hearing and some kind of notes- numbers- fingers combination that Mr Granger came up with. I am so grateful I found Timple Studio.

The instructor is very patient and professional, despite me not having any musical experience and the class is always fun. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn music. I've come a long way myself.
