About Erin Raine
First lesson is free!
I have a passion for helping my students obtain a deep understanding of the music we make and the instruments we are play. I teach technique and theory to create a strong musical foundation. I also work with my students to break down any barriers to learning new music, to find what practice methods work best for you, and how to conduct a successful practice session on your own. I curate lesson plans based on each students individual goals and background knowledge.
I've been teaching music lessons for 10 years and have over 4 years of experience teaching virtually. I have the highest quality cameras and sound equipment to ensure a seamless lesson.
Associates in professional music from SWCC in Creston, Iowa where I studied voice, viola, piano, theory and arranging. Both classical and jazz.
Bachelors in jazz studies-voice from The University of North Texas where I performed with 'Jazz Singers' directed by Jennifer Barnes, one of the top vocal jazz groups in the country. Vocally, I studied privately under Rosana Eckert.

I start with an intake lesson where I get to know your background, experience level, and your goals. I will answer any questions you have and let you know what to expect from our lessons. I then will create your personal lesson plan and we will get to work!
I have experience teaching all ages from 4-64.
