About Sara
Hello! My name is Sara Robinson.
I have had a love for playing and listening to the piano since I was about four years old. I started taking private lessons when I was nine and enjoyed playing piano all the way through high school. My experience in teaching beginner and intermediate students also began once I hit high school. During those years, I had a substantial amount of experience playing for school programs, church choir and accompaniment, church services, and weddings. I also received several awards at the MACS musical competitions my school would participate in.
After graduating college with my Bachelors degree in Music Education, I taught private piano lessons for a couple of years, while also teaching all day Kindergarten. I continued my career and taught private piano lessons for four years at two different music schools with about 40 students at a time. Throughout my experience in teaching and working with children, I have developed a passion to teach them to love music and play songs that inspire them and keep them playing. It would be a great joy to have you join Sara’s Piano Academy and learn music that you love! Lessons consist of learning good piano posture and technique, playing fun songs, music worksheets, music games, learning good practice habits, and so much more!
