About Edye
I love teaching students of all ages and levels. I prefer to teach a bit of basics and theory during lesson time but always leave time open for fun and any songs my students want to learn! I have experience playing in most genres, so I am happy to work with my students on any song! I also sing, so working with my students on vocals and singing along with the piano is a bonus part of taking lessons with me if the student is interested. :)
I've worked in a music studio teaching private one-on-one lessons for over 9 years, and every day feels like a reward! To be able to watch my students progress is the best feeling. I've had some of the same students for years & years and have watched them all learn and grow! :)
I am a classically trained pianist with 25 years of experience!

The first lesson with me is always a lot of getting to know each other and making sure my student feels very comfortable. We can take as slow or as fast of a pace as needed.
