About Bonnie

Music lessons are full of goals, creativity, and fun! Every student has a different learning style. My challenge is to detect that learning style and create a personalized curriculum for each student. Most learning takes place at home during a student's practice time. A teacher must equip each student at the lesson to be self-sufficient at home alone. Lessons with me are full of listening, making music, setting goals and having fun! I look forward to sharing my love of music with you!

My piano teaching career began 17 years ago. I taught lessons at my teacher's studio while earning my Associates Degree from Wallace Community College in Dothan, AL. I continued my piano studies at The University of Montevallo with Dr. Cynthia McCrae. In 2011 my husband's job took us to Mississippi where I opened The Pass School of Music. With seven teachers and a lovely community in Pass Christian our enrollment reached a high of 70 students this year. Due to COVIT-19, I have decided to teach online.

About the lesson
