About Zay

I teach students the standard piano literature, starting with a method book. I also use supplementary material which leads to exciting lessons and performances. Some history of the music and composers is included, calling on my background as a music professor at Ohio State. I have been teaching music for many years, and hold a Ph.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill.

It really gives me a lift to hear students play well. Some of my students have gone on to study music at the college level, some play for their church--the list goes on.
