About Christin

I have a bachelors of music degree in Vocal Performance from The Masters University and have been teaching piano and voice for 18 years. My desire is to infuse each household with the joy of music, and to encourage each musician in my studio towards excellence in their instrument, and graciousness in sharing their gifts and talents with the community.

It is essential that the instructor’s teaching style and the student’s learning style are compatible, in addition to there being a foundation of mutual respect, in order to create an environment of deep education. As those prerequisites are so vital to maintaining a studio of integrity, I offer a FREE INTEO LESSON to each new student. This 30 minute introduction will allow the student to better understand the studio, and allows me to assess the student’s musical level, in addition to getting a better understanding of the student’s goals and how I might help them achieve them.

It is my absolute joy to see my students grow and excel, both in the studio and in their personal lives. As the daughter of a piano teacher, I grew up in a house full of music. I have a degree in Vocal Performance from The Masters University, and have been teaching for 18 years.

About the lesson

Each new student is give a FREE intro lesson, to allow them to access my teaching style, and to confirm that my studio will be correct fit with their personality and schedule at that time. In addition to an abbreviated lesson, each student fills out a contact form, and our interviewed to allow the studio to better understand their musical goals. The intro lesson is given with the hope of pouring as much music into the student as possible, in the hopes that they will better love their instrument, regardless of whether they continue with regular lessons in the studio or not.

Details

The first lesson is always FREE. Monthly tuition for 30 minute lessons are $125, with a registration fee of $75 per semester which covers all books, copies, recitals, insurance, etc. Individual lessons are prorated at $31.25 per lesson.
