About Janelle
Have you ever heard a great piano player and thought:
"Man I wish I could play like that?"
"I wish I could get my hands to move and play the melody I hear in my head."
That feeling is so common, and it's exactly what I can help you learn to do. When you take lessons with me, I make it my goal to nurture your passion for music through personalized instruction.
I find out what songs you want to play, and teach you how to play them in a fun way.
I find out what your learning style is and make full use of that in your journey.
I'm going to save you the 10,000+ hours I spent learning through traditional teaching methods as a kid, playing outdated songs nobody knows, and speed up your journey to playing what you love.
Here's what you'll learn in my piano lessons:
1. How to play chords, enabling you to read lead sheets and play any song
2. Fundamentals of scalesand key signatures, allowing you to play melodies by ear, and even create your own
3. Finger training excercises that are fun (people will think it's a song)
If you're ready enrich your life with the joy of playing piano, go ahead and book your first lesson with me.
