About Kelly
Hello! I am a performer and educator. I have been teaching piano for all ages for 10 years. I can change my teaching methods to fit each student. I also have been performing around NYC and NJ venues.
You can take 30mins, 45mins, and an hour lesson. It depends on ages. For the lessons, students come to my home or I travel to students' homes (NJ; Fort Lee, Closter, Palisades Park, Hackensack, Fairview, etc.)
My goal is to enjoy music and share my love of music with students of all ages by making lessons fun!
I use a method book, Faber's Piano Adventures series. In addition, I teach classic tunes, jazz tunes, fun pop/movie songs. So students can play their favorite songs at their level.
I incorporate music theory, ear training, sight-reading, improvising, and composing.
My students will have a recital once a year to motivate and show their hard work and effort to parents.
