She has always had an undying passion for music in any form, and her work ethic and loyalty to clients makes her stand out as a teacher. Margaret is also a 200-HR RYT certified yoga instructor, and enjoys incorporating yoga's mindfulness and breathing techniques into her instruction. She loves teaching students of a wide variety of ages, abilities, backgrounds and goals because she believes that music in any form or quality is good music.

In previous years, Margaret has participated in the international “Opera Viva!” vocal program in Verona, Italy, where she frequently performed whilst receiving intensive language, performance, and technique study. Margaret also appeared as one of six duos with her collaborative pianist Irina Stene in the national Source Song Festival in Minneapolis, Minnesota. About the lesson

I like to first meet with a student and learn their goals and what they would like to accomplish in studying with me. I am very committed to tailoring my curriculum and teaching style to fit the student, not the other way around.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How hard are you willing to work toward your goals? How much time do you want to spend per week working on it? Is this a hobby, passion, or a livelihood for you? Are you open to new ideas and ways of working, or do you have a specific teaching style you are looking for?
