About Rebekah

I've taught voice lessons in schools for the last 5 years. Now I've added beginner piano and am changing to a home studio setting to be home with my son.

I majored in Vocal Performance and studied with The Bay Area Summer Opera Theatre Institute after graduation.

I've taken piano lessons since I was 7 years old.

I am passionate about music. My goal is for my students to see my passion and develop a passion for music as well. Music should be fun! I love when I see my students get excited about what we're working on.

I have a degree in Vocal Performance from Ouachita Baptist University. I have also been taking piano lessons since I was 7 years old.

About the lesson

I use the Alfred Piano Method books with my piano students.

With voice students, we will start with the fundamentals of singing especially in regards to breathing and vocal production. We will do physical and vocal warm ups to prepare the body for singing. We will work on ear training and reading music. We will work on songs to apply the technique.
