About Kim
Hi, My name is Professor Jones, and I like to have a special relationship with the student, extremetly supportive but definitely wanting them to progress...I love it when my students love to work! I like to boost the confidence and give them the tools that will keep one singing healthily for a long time.
I am soprano alum of the Ryan Center with the Lyric opera of Chicago, so singing is obviously very special to me. I also attended Westminster choir college in Princeton NJ where we got to perform with conductors like Riccardo Muti and Leonard Bernstein. I've been singing professionally for over 20 years.
It's all about how much you want to improve. Practicing is essential. If one doesn't want to practice to work on this wonderful craft, we are probably not the right fit.
Just seeing the looks on their faces when they finally get something they have been trying to do, when they shine during their performances...Taking someone to the next level is very special.
