- For piano, viola, and horn students, I begin with a short survey to determine their skill level, and ask for examples of pieces they have studied.
- For composition students, a similar survey is completed, with a sample of their most recent work.
- For theory students, a short placement test is administered.
Beginners from 8 years to 60+, preparing students for music schools, adults with little or no experience.
Please ask questions to make sure the teacher understands how you learn and can work with you to accomplish your goals.
