About Kenneth
My students transform their piano playing. We achieve results in the first lesson that signal a new stage in each students' playing.
I am a piano teacher with 40 years of experience. A university professor as well as private instructor, I work with soloists and collaborative pianists.
Students will redefine their expectations for themselves by making valuable progress on specific skills such as performing with confidence, sight reading, technique, and memorization. Students are also encouraged to bring specific repertoire that they strongly desire to master to their lessons with me.
My students have been winners in state competitions and have been invited to attend prestigious graduate programs and international summer programs.

For all students, I will hold a brief online interview to learn about them and their goals for piano. If students have previous experience, I will ask to hear them play during the interview or submit a video. Common questions include: 1. What kind of instrument do you have? 2. Do you have previous experience? 3. Do you have specific goals that you would like to accomplish?
