About Geneque
Welcome! I am a pianist and piano teacher with studio locations in Berlin, MD and Salisbury, MD. My philosophy as a piano teacher is to instill a deep love and appreciation for music in my students. I believe that learning to play the piano should be a joyful and rewarding experience, and that everyone has the potential to become a skilled musician. My goal is to help my students develop their musical abilities to the fullest extent possible, while also fostering their creativity, discipline, and self-expression!
With over 9+ years of teaching experience, Geneque Garrison is currently the owner of Garrison Piano Studio in Berlin, MD as well as a piano teacher with Salisbury University's PRESTO program. Her goal is to bring out the best in each student and to help them reach their musical goals. In her lessons, she provides a comprehensive and personalized approach to learning the piano. The curriculum includes music theory, music history, performance practice, and more. Students also have opportunities to participate in recitals, National Piano Guild Exams, RCM exams, and various community performances.
