About William

Hi, I’m William and I want to help you become a great musician! Chances are, you have locked-up musical potential that just needs some help getting set free!

I teach private and group sessions in Baton Rouge, LA. Instruction on Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Trumpet and other band instruments is available.

I can also help make you a song writer! I will help you with lyrics, melody, and chords and help you put it all together.

Call me at (concealed information) and let’s set up a time to move you forward on your musical journey!

I had my first student while I was in college and haven't stopped teaching since.

I have a bachelor's degree in music and a lifetime of playing, performing, teaching, and recording music.

About the lesson

I find out where the student is on their musical journey and try to pick up where they left off. With a beginning student, I want to make sure they get a solid foundation and not develop any bad habits.

Beginning to advanced.

It takes dedication and desire to grow in skill on any instrument. You have to love it to succeed!

Traveling and playing in other countries has been one of my favorite things to do.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Just share your goals. What do you want to experience with your talent?

Perfect! I actually had a computer maintenance lesson with William. I wanted to brush up on overall PC basics, i.e. storage, speed, processors; how to regularly clear PC of junk files and best free software to use for de-fragging; recommendations on malware protection services; and several other questions - both rookie and a little more advanced - and he was able to field them all, or make suggestions on the best sources of information for those questions.

William is prompt, on point, makes efficient use of time, and great at explaining things to "laypersons." Important! Tech experts sometimes have difficulty translating complex issue into plain English, and William is great at this.

I will definitely keep William's info in my contacts for future "tech support."

fyi I recommend having the lesson via FaceTime or other video chat, on a separate device, so that you can have full use of your computer while conversing with William.

Thank you William for the great "crash course"! 5 stars!

William has really got a gift to teach music to anybody. Even the least who doesn’t know a lot, he makes that clear. He has a lovely personality which is a bonus of the time spend in music class!
