About Asiah
I’m Asiah and I’ve been playing piano since I was 9 and I’ve been teaching since I was 16. I have such a love, passion, and connection with piano and I love to introduce my students into this world and what the connection they create with piano as well. It takes a lot patience as an instructor and a lot of practice as a student to create magic. I would love to join you on this journey.
It's just something about the art of playing. I don't know if it's the sounds or the movement of your fingers or the memorization or the combination of them all... It just makes you feel like you're creating art and it has the ability to just feed your soul. Finding a new song to play can look and seem challenging, but after some practice, it becomes so rewarding and cathartic.
I started by teaching my younger sister who seemed curious about playing. That is when I realized I loved teaching.
I have studied at a piano school since I was a child. I've had success in teaching students as well.

About the lesson

You will need a piano/keyboard.
We will be using Alfred d'Auberge Books as I guide you through your piano journey.
You will have to purchase Alfred d'Auberge Piano Course Lesson Book 1 which costs $6.95 on Amazon.
Our lessons will be 1 hour at a minimum.
I will require you to practice atleast one hour a day on your own.
I have mostly worked with younger students, high school and below. I am now open to students of all ages .
My advice is to have patience with yourself.
There are no instant results.
Advancement takes time.
Practice is essential.
It will be worth your time and investment.
Piano can be therapy and art.
The most recent event I am fond of was just fishing in my back yard with my dad and catching fish.
