About Ericka
My name is Ericka Ames. I have been painting for almost 20 years. I absolutely love sharing my passion for painting. I do community paint parties as well as private paint parties. Just this year with Covid -19 I added students that were not attending school and teaching them art. My private lessons grew to add a couple of home school kids as well. I am patient, and love to make art fun. The look on a persons face when they see what they can do when the canvas goes from white to a piece of art is my favorite. To help show them that too can be artistic and make beautiful painting is thrilling.
Seeing the amazement in the students eyes as they create something they never thought they could do!!

I will ask what medium they want to use. What do they like to paint. I will guide and paint alongside showing my own tips and tricks. At the first sit down I then figure out what does the student need to work on. Then the next lessons the picture we paint is based off what they need to improve.
