About Ashley

Im doing 1 on 1 virtual lessons and the first lesson is free. i can teach art or music and every lesson will be tailored to the students skill level and be focused on what the student is most interested in learning. After the free lesson im asking for 15$ for a half hour lesson. I have 20+ years experience as an artist and 16 years experience on guitar and bass. I am not qualified or certified in any way so this means im willing to give you more of my time for much less $ lessons would be a combination of zoom or skype chatting and then sending video or audio recordings back and forth. Working on art and music is what i love. Ive got to figure out how to make a living doing what i love. maybe the way for me to do that is to teach.

About the lesson

Ask and answer questions to figure out what they are most interested in learning. If your interested in guitar lessons i would suggest spending time focusing on learning chords and scales, reading and writing music learning songs. Either covers or writting your own songs. Whatever direction the student is most interested is in is what we will focus on the most. And for art i make abstract art paintings and drawings i would do my best to instruct the student on my process of doing art but ultimately i would incourage the student to develope there own original style.
