About Sharon
I teach a Wednesday morning studio lanscape class at the ARC approved atalier, Kline Academy of Fine Art. My passion for the landscape began when I moved to Los Angeles from New York City were I studied at Parsons School of Design. My training started by painting on location, plein air and I have taken that experience into the studio. I am inspired by the Impressionists who painted wet on wet and used color to capture natures beauty.

I like to have a student paint from my step by step instruction of a coastal scene. This allows me to understand where the student is in their artistic journey and gives me a handle on how to proceed with that student.
