About Alena

I have a complex variety of skills I can offer from astract painting, to collaging, photoshop, to basic photo editing and art with a phone, IPad ect. I am also available to teach fabric manipulation such as custom dye, patchwork, painting and sewing.

Creating is my strongest passion. It brings me happiness and I love helping people reach their potential in creating too! I feel that art is one of the strongest material things in life that leads to human connection, understanding and spiritual growth. I love that by teaching art, I can help people to better express themselves.

I have a bachelor in fine arts degree; am self taught in variuos areas of art as well. I have worked with figure and form, predominately from a fashion aspect. My specialty is in mixed media collage, with acrylic and photo manipulation. I also do ink and charcol drawing, abstract, surreal and charicature.

About the lesson

Reviewing experience, and goals. I want to create a plan to help the student achieve their goal. I want to add as much value to the class as possible by working towards projects we can complete in a set amount of time. This type of goal setting helps students stay motivated by achievement.
