About Melissa

I drive to teach private lessons in south orange county ! I love what I do! I not only leave my clients with a beautiful painting, but I leave them with the tools necessary to be better independently! There is no greater joy in my life!

I am the best person for you based on my experience teaching all ages ...including special needs, and the elderly for therapy!

I have loved to paint ever since I was little. I love to be in touch with my soul, and touch lives while teaching!!

Painting turns people into a childlike person... it has a way of "dancing with your immagination:

I started teaching in 2008 after attending a refresher course at Saddleback college

I have been a professional artist and paint instructor for many years (around 10)

I love art! Especially acrylics!!

About the lesson

I will talk to you on the phone first, to see what ideas you have, discussing the piece is an important step in being able to teach a beginner especially!

I cannot wait to get started, and open your imagination through paint!!

I have worked with students ranging from 3rd grade all the way through to the elderly

I would say to look for somebody that is patient, kind, and loves people and art the way I do! 😊

I recently drove to San Diegk and taught a class at a middle school of 36 kids! It was a.azing and rewarding!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about the type of painting you would like to produce, as well as why you are painting it.

Is there a story, or is it for an assignment, ect...

Melissa is a great teacher.. before I stated going to brushes and bubbles paint parties I could barely draw a stick figure.. but from the very first party I have been able to paint beautiful pictures. Melissa makes her lessons fun and exciting. I recommend brushes and bubbles for whatever your painting needs are.
