About Ashlyn
Cavallier Creations stands out because Ashlyn Cavallier has to create in order to exist fully and happily. She takes pride in everything that she does and that can take on many different forms!
I have been teaching and demonstrating art to friends and other students since 2010 all during my high school years. This is my first official teaching opportunity but I do have experience with several different age groups and types of people
When it comes to training and credentials with my artistic career, I have a little over tens years’ experience. I have been creating artwork in variety of different mediums since I was a small child. Art is a passion of mine and you can see that through my work. I am in the process of finishing up a graphic design degree, nut for now that has been put on hold. I wanted to pour my time into creating artwork that I can be proud of and I have done just that. I’m incredibly happy to be able to share my knowledge and experience with everyone that wants to learn!

With each student that I take on, we will begin with basics of art principles. Then we move on into the basics of color, paintbrushes, paper types and canvas. My goal with teaching acrylic painting is to help my students understand that a beautiful painting is achievable through basic skills and materials. My hope is to help facilitate a love for acrylic painting and everything artistic for a lifetime.
I have worked with students of all age groups including students that have special needs, elderly students, elementary aged students and everyone in between!
Some advice I would give is that every artist and teacher is different, and that's what makes it fun! I love learning form differrent artists and teachers about their processes and methods! The biggest thing I have learned is that as a student you have to be very open and there is not just one option!
One recent event that I am fond of is when I went the The Columbia Museum of Art to see the Van Gogh exhibit. I was amazed to see all of this sketches and artwork. It was an amazing experience!

Details
When it comes to my lesson plans and pricing, I have my lessons set up as a 6-week class twice a week. The days of the week available are Saturdays 12-3pm and Wednesday afternoons 4-7pm
(this is due to my work schedule during the daytime of the week, these classes will begin on Wednesday July 29th, because I’m currently on vacation and in the process of moving, I apologize for any inconvenience.)
Pricing for these classes will be per student $15 dollars a week for 6 weeks for a grand total of $90.00 dollars for the 6-week course.
