About Melia

The Art of Crafting Joy was created to bring happiness to as many people as possible. I craft jewelry for selling online and at local events, all proceeds are given to the American foundation for suicide prevention. If teaching crafts to you will bring you joy, than I hope you can spread that joy to others in your life.

Art is one of the best ways we can express ourselves. maybe your expression is through music, painting, drawing, floral design, sculpting, dance, the possibilities are endless. Whatever you make, however you express yourself, the goal should always be to make yourself and other happy. That's what i get out of it. A smile can be contagious, and I hope everyone catches it.

I have always been a crafter. I have worked for paint and sip programs, I have worked managing craft supply stores, and I have experience working with young children, teenagers, and people with special needs.

About the lesson

Everyone learns differently. First we have to find what works for YOU. Once we've discovered what you need to learn we can explore styles and techniques that flow with your own unique art design.

I spent 6 years in Early Childhood Education and have spent over 10 years working with special needs athletes. I have also taught countless "paint and sip" events in my local area

Everyone is an artist. Those that you look up to and aspire to be have just been doing it longer. You have to start somewhere, and im glad i can help you begin your journey.

I participate in a lot of local fairs and craft events. I sell my handmade jewelry and always have a craft your own station at every event. The best part of every event is the smile on someones face after theyve completed their work of art and get to wear it home.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
