About Becky

I grew up in Mexico surrounded by colors, music, and traditions that continuously celebrate the cycles of life. This is where my love for expression and creativity began. Spontaneity is part of my nature. Painting freely without sketching allows me to expose the raw energy that arises in me with no rules and boundaries, trusting the process is a unique experience risking everything in each stroke can always end up as a beautiful piece of love. I am proudly inspired by women who possess the duality of strength and fragility like a wildflower; Mother Nature is part of this colorful experience and as a witness, I feel the urge to express its endless beauty through my colors. My hope is that my art invokes and revolves an emotion of love in you.

I enjoy the connection I have with my students, but mostly the connection they create with the art of creating a piece full of love and colors!

About the lesson

We start with the basics in art with primary colors, but mostly the use of brushes, spatulas, and getting to know the consistency of paint showing them to pay attention on how the paint runs into the canvas using different techniques to feed their curiosity and make it fun!
