About Colie
I teach one on one and I use emotion with passion to pull the creativity out of the artist onto canvas. I am a homeschool mom and an artist myself. I love to teach a student where their creative potential lies within them already. Art is life. Life is art. They both fuel our hearts. I believe each person has something to say. Painting does that, simply with colors.
I am a self taught painter and sculptor that also takes classes for fun.

I like to meet my students and see what their goals are. I like to exchange an energy of trust and creativity. I will teach what the student needs as far as techniques, but also allow them the freedom to expand on their own.

Colie asked me what I wanted to paint and it felt like she listened to me.
I enjoyed the way she allowed me to find my own voice. Her techniques were helpful in assisting me to paint what was in my mind.
