About Vernell

Via Zoom, I will paint with you individually or for fun with a group of your friends. Once COVID is over, I will come to your location with all supplies and party with you and your friends. Regardless of virtual or in-person session, there will be music and a gift for the hostess.

Having fun!

Once I discovered my artistic abilities, I took several classes at the LORTON ART WORKSHOP, The CANDYSHOP in Old Town Manassas, and other locations in order to hone my skills. I am skilled at watercolor, acrylic, and Oil painting. I have been painting for at least 10 years.

About the lesson

typically, I come to you with all of the supplies, and we paint for an hour and a half. Typically, you would have a group of friends and I would host a Paint Party for you with music and cookies. However, COVID has temporarily put an end to such gatherings.

Today, I host ZOOM Paint Partieis with a group or with just one student. You select from my gallery a recommended painting, and I will send to you a list of supplies that you will purchase from Michaels (either online or at the store). Once you have your supplies, we set a date, and PARTY!

It was nice not having to study alone for the test and it was helpful to have a teacher to explain why certain answers were what they were.
