About Ayasha

In the beautiful city of Big Rapids Michigan tucked away in my studio is where you will find me creating. I am a traditionally, cultured Native American Fine Artist who draws inspiration from the history within the tribes. I truly enjoy working with oils, watercolors, charcoals, and pastels. My subjects range from florals, figurative, landscape, animals, etc... With my passion of history, I enjoy learning techniques and styles from the Masters of Fine Art. Most recently, I have been greatly inspired by Pablo Picasso finding his techniques with her culture to bring life to the Native American Arts. “To create is to take voices of a culture that was once silenced and be an inspiration to the world through and educate about existence through art”-Ayasha Loya

I enjoy painting and drawing because it's healing for me as a Veteran with PTSD. The ability to turn a white canvas into a world of your own provides strength within me and inspires me to keep creating.
