About Catherine
I make sure to listen to each student and teach them what they actually want to learn. Whether they are looking for certain medium tips, help on a current project, or want to improve their painting techniques, I'm here to help!
I've been painting for many years, more seriously since college. I've taught acrylics to kids, teens, and adults of all ages. I was trained with oils in college, and have continued painting with oils, watercolors and acrylics since. It's easiest to teach with acrylics because they are so forgiving for beginners.
I love seeing something come to life through every stage of the painting process. No matter how frustrating the journey can be, the amount of time a piece changes from start to finish is exciting.
