About Chanel

I am a Self-taught artist and a single mother who uses high-school skills and my own expertise to teach people simple painting techniques. My services include drawing and painting commission portraits, cartoons and murals upon request, hosting and instructing paint & sip events (public and private parties) teaching groups of people of all ages (5-30 total) how to paint simple murals while they enjoy refreshments and other local entertainment. Available for live paintings as well. I am in the process of becoming a certified paint instructor, having taught over 30 different classes for over 100+ hours.

I LOVE working with people and interacting with them! I really enjoy building their confidence as painters and teaching them to enjoy the freedom of painting, and the techniques behind them.

My older sister asked me to host a paint class for her birthday 4 years ago. I noticed I really enjoyed interacting with everyone, AND teaching the fundamentals of painting as well. It was a win-win for everyone involved.

I took art classes in highschool, and have been teaching groups of people (all ages) at paint & sip parties for the past 3 years.
