About Liselotte

Trained by some of the finest artists at Art Center College of Design, the figure painting classes and illustration classes were my domain. I loved every moment immersed in painting and drawing. Encouraged to pursue a living, and genuinely loving the traditional use of graphic arts, I became an art director in advertising, after many freelance commissions of editorial illustrations, signage for local companies, and more.

Film-advertising art directing in Los Angeles, gave me the opportunity to work with some of the finest illustrators, painters, and photographers. Directing the artists into specific directions for the project at hand, witnessing them use their finely honed skills to produce commercial art was educational and exciting.

I sketched as a child, incessantly, drawing and sketching come naturally. Painting became my second friend. I painted with acrylics, oils, gouache, waterpaints... computers. Please have a look at some of my work:

(concealed information)

The diverse nature of each project. I enjoy the challenge of the various processes and ideation of assignments, both in graphic arts and my own personal art. Life is art, nature, light and darkness is all subject to art. Expression of ideas and concerns lends itself to this world and offers connection.

I enjoy the connection that art can bring to us all.
