About Riitta

I have been painting professionally for 20 years. I am represented by several galleries around the United States and also work with interior designers. I have taught children in Miami, Florida as well as hosted many fun art and cocktail evenings in my studio. I am passionate about painting and art history and have studied ancient methods and practices. I work mainly with acrylics as I find it the most efficient especially for teaching. I teach color fundamentals and reference art history but mainly want to engage the student in finding their own voice.

I enjoy the communication and sharing passion about art and creation to help my students find their own voice. I love to paint more than anything else.

in Miami I started working with children from drug addicted mothers and found such purpose in doing this that I have since then wanted to share that. I loved the process and seeing people discover their own talent and produce.
