About Marc

I am and have been a professional singer and musician for over 40 years. I have performed in a wide variety of genres including pop, rock, country, jazz and classical. I still do live and session works. I try very hard to make your voice lessons, fun, relaxed, and informative. Whether you're a professional, somewhere in the middle or a beginner, I can help you find your voice.

Singing for me is something that I love. It takes me to a different place and is just part of who I am. I also just really like people, and teaching allows me to give back what makes me so happy an hopefully helps my students find their happy place.

I've been singing since the age of 5. I studied music and more specifically, voice in college and then studied privately with a prominent vocal instructor in Manhattan for several years after that. I've also been a professional singer/drummer/producer/vocal instructor the last 40 plus years

About the lesson

First I try to find out where the student is coming from as far as experience, personality and what they're looking to get out of the lessons. Then we go from there.

I've worked with all types of students from children to adults amateurs and professionals.

Find someone you can relate to, who will make learning to sing fun and enjoyable. Be willing to work hard however. Although singing can be one of the most joyous things you can experience, to learn to get the most out of your voice will take determination, dedication and practice.

Details

I generally charge $60 for a 45 to 60 minute lesson when I travel to the student. Or $50 for a virtual lesson.
