Evie is great with our three kids (ages 8-12, ranging from beginner to advanced), and they have all loved working with her for the last three or four years - she makes music fun and engaging for all of them, even our youngest (beginner violin/orchestra), while teaching the advanced technical points to the older kids (advanced violin / orchestra, occasionally voice).  The kids look forward to their weekly lessons and have been known to fight over who gets a bonus lesson when she has an open spot adjacent to ours in the schedule.  She quickly established a great rapport with the kids and guides them to assessing their own musicality while pushing them to continuously improve.  Her accessibility and technical knowledge accompanied by her positive personality make her an invaluable role model and teacher for our kids for which we will be forever grateful.

She creates a welcoming environment where you are eager to learn and develop your instrument. As someone who struggles with singing in front of people and gets stage fright, I feel comfortable in our lessons and have found myself improving a lot!

Evelynn has been flexible and quick to accommodate online lessons during the pandemic. My daughter Maya has autism and loves Evie as she is warm and caring. Maya's love for the violin has been increasing and so have her skills. It is sometimes not easy to learn virtually, especially for special need children, but Evie has been excellent at it.

Evelynn Brogan is a great teacher. I have been studying for several years with her. I am so lucky to have found her. She clearly enjoys music and teaching. She is so enthusiastic and helps me find new and fun violin music pieces to explore and work on.
