About Alex
I am a professional actor and tutor with a BA (Hons) in History (2:1) from the University of York and a postgraduate degree in Acting from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School with a wealth of teaching experience. I cover the full range of the KS1 and KS2 curricula and specialised English and History tuition up to GCSE, alongside working on admission requirements and examinations for specific schools in the London and, until recently, Bristol areas.

I offer tuition which focusses on the specific needs of each child and aim to instil a confidence that there really should be no limit to their ambition or achievement; be that in 7+, 8+ or 11+ Entrance Exams or their schoolwork throughout the academic year. We will identify their strengths and hone these to make them really shine through. We will also identify areas of improvement and work hard through targeted exercises to turn their problem area into a further area of strength. My experience as an actor and theatre facilitator makes me ideally suited to unlock potential, confidence and pride that can make all the difference in a child's short and long-term educational success.
