About Emily
I tutor students looking to improve upon their understanding and knowledge of medical terminology. I have found that students in health science courses can understand the material thoroughly, however, can struggle when it comes to the terminology and this issue often has negative effects on students grades.
I spent much time during my education in courses related to health and the health field. I was president of the Honesdale-Irving chapter of HOSA Future Health Professionals. Through the organization I competed in medical terminology at the state level and then advanced and competed again on the international level. Other competitors within the organization have reached out through the last few years to request assistance in bettering their understanding and knowledge of medical terminology.
