About Alexis
Hi my name is Lexy and teaching is a huge passion of mine!
To tell you a little about me, as an undergraduate I double majored in molecular genetics and psychology with a minor in chemistry. I tutored in high school, helping students pass their state exams, and worked as a teaching assistant throughout college gaining lots of experience teaching biology and chemistry.
I absolutely love helping students strengthen their understanding of important concepts/subject material. My goal as a tutor is to amend my teaching style for all different educational backgrounds and styles of learning to provide the best possible experience.

Lexy was so great at explaining Bio in terms my daughter could finally understand. She made complex ideas seem easy.
Changed my daughter's whole year after we started with her!See more recommendations
