About Candice
Hi! My name is Candice, and I specialize in Anatomy & Physiology tutoring for nursing, pre-PT, and allied health students.
I earned A’s in both Anatomy & Physiology courses on my first attempt and am currently pursuing my degree in kinesiology on the path to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Alongside my academic background, I also have experience as a personal trainer, which allows me to connect anatomy concepts to real movement and clinical application in a way that feels practical and easier to understand.
For the past several years, I’ve worked closely with fitness clients and students to break down complicated information into clear, manageable concepts. What I love most about tutoring is watching students go from feeling overwhelmed and frustrated to finally understanding material that once felt impossible.
My tutoring style is highly interactive and visual. All sessions are conducted through a live digital whiteboard with built-in video and audio, allowing us to work through diagrams, labeling exercises, physiology flowcharts, practice questions, and study strategies together in real time. I focus on helping students truly understand the “why” behind the material instead of relying on memorization alone.
