About Allison
Hello! I am a current graduate student at UNH earning a PhD in biochemistry. I received my Bachelors of Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in 2021.
I have been a private tutor since my senior year in college where I offered both in-person and online tutoring options. During the summer of 2021 before I started grad school, I taught a summer science camp covering different topics each week to children ages 5-12. While at UNH I have also had the opportunity to teach intro lab courses and assist in the lecture portion of the course.
I believe science should be able to be communicated to and understood by everyone, no matter their background. My teaching/tutoring style aims to connect relevant science topics to the interest of each student to make learning science more approachable and engaging.
