I've always wanted to play drums like a PRO. After many months looking around for an instructor, I was very fortunate to find Fernando Leiva. From the beginning, he took the time to listen and understand what my technical issues were and turned them into lessons. Fernando showed me the concept that "perfect practice makes perfect, not just practice." He is a fantastic drummer with some seriously amazing skills, a phenomenal instructor and excellent and modest person. I was surprised to learn that he is also an excellent piano player which makes him a better drummer. His musical concept is out of this world. I can honestly say that I have become a better drummer thanks to his methods. He taught me to feel the music instead of just playing the drums. Fernando exceeded my expectations on every musical level. If you want to play drums or if you already do and want to become better at it, don't look any further, this is the guy.
