Work at a multi specialty hospital in Philadelphia for past 6 years
Am a team lead coder in charge of 7 other in-house coders in my department
I hold my RHIT certificate from AHIMA and my CIRCC & CPC from AAPC
I also hold my bachelors degree in healthcare administration
I am experienced in surgical coding (multiple specialties), E&M coding, and auditing.
I have experience in vascular coding, GI, Transplant, cardioThoraic, Interventional cardiology/radiology, trauma, breast, and general surgery.
I am experienced in evaluation and management training in primary care and OBGYN, as well as hospitalist and orthopedics.
I deal with both inpatient and outpatient coding.
I feel that it's beneficial to have flexibility within coding areas and that's what I'm here for!
